4 points, 3 steps, 2 Changes, 1 direction

the four points

God Created the World and it was good

Man did wrong and sin entered the world

Jesus came and died for us as a sacrifice for the wrong we have done.

what are you going to do about it ¿

The 3 steps

1. Repent  -  say sorry for the wrong things you have done   -  All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God

2. Believe that Jesus died and rose again – truly believe in what Jesus Christ has done for you.

3. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord – believing silently is not enough – tell someone.

the 2 changes

When you are born again – when you are saved – you are a new creation.

change 1. your heart is changed – the spirit of truth will dwell in you

change 2. you will change outwardly – let the light of Christ be seen through you

 

1 direction

when you are a new Creation in Christ, when you are saved by his shed blood. Then your reward will be in heaven

Jesus made a way back to heaven for those who believe in him

Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me’

for those who are in Christ, when we die or when Jesus returns, we will spend an eternity with him in heaven, not an eternity in Hell

Inskip Container Challenge. Week 1

The container has arrived for our challenge.

The challenge is to fill the container and send it out to
The smiles foundation in Oradea Romania for them to distribute the supplies and use the container on the farm project.

Sanitary towels
Wet wipes

The way

Jesus Christ is THE way, THE truth and THE life. No one gets to the father but through him. That means that no one gets to dwell or live with God as man once did except through Jesus.
If you want to get to heaven and don’t know how then ask us.

Do You Know Him?

Are you abiding in him?  – Do you know him?

Abiding in Him

John 15 says

⁵ “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. ⁶ If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will^[b] ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. ⁸ By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Live in His word, live through His word, let His word live in you, let His word live through you.  This is the only way we can abide in Him and He can abide with us.  Dont forget John 1  In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

so let me write the previous line again.  Live in His Word, live through His Word, let His Word live in you, let His Word live through you so you can bear fruit.

How do we Support Others?

Isaiah 58 vs 10-11  reads

¹⁰ and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
       and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
       then your light will rise in the darkness,
       and your night will become like the noonday.

 ¹¹ The LORD will guide you always;
       he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
       and will strengthen your frame.
       You will be like a well-watered garden,
       like a spring whose waters never fail.

 

Jesus then said in reference to the final judgement

⁴⁰“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

DJ’ are spreading their wings.

Spreading our Wings

We are soon to let go of 3 of the DJ’ regulars.

Michael is leaving to take up a full time ministry position at Cave Brown Evangelical Church in Ashton in Makerfield. (follow link http://www.cavebrowne.org/)

Kristy is going to Columbia Bible College in S Carolina, USA  (follow link http://www.ciu.edu/)

What about the rest of us, are we spreading our wings or are we just flapping around doing not a lot?

It does not matter where we are serving the Lord, or how we are serving the Lord or where we are worshipping the Lord as long as we are doing it within his good plan and purpose.  We must be serving him where he wants us to serve him, not just where it feels the best.

Isaiah says (40:31) ‘but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.’

He does not say on wings like Chickens, he does not even say on the wings of a dove.  He uses the Eagle because the Eagle has strength, It can soar high above any other, It is powerful, works hard and achieves plenty, just as we can do if our hope is in the Lord and we go to him for our guidance, our strength, our hope and do not flap around on our own ability getting nowhere.

So spread your wings, where you are at and let us constantly remember those the Lord has called to spread their wings in other places and may they hope in the Lord for all their strength.
